Job DescriptionThe Junior Construction Field Assistant is an entry‑level construction field position assisting the Construction team with various duties and customer communications. This temporary role is designed to provide exposure to general construction processes with the goal of promotion within the team. The role involves daily management of model maintenance, assisting in home building progress communication, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the community.
YourResponsibilities on the Team
- Assist the Construction Manager with all construction responsibilities, including supervision and scheduling of trade partners from trench to customer move‑in.
- Create and enhance the TDH experience for our current and prospective customers.
- Daily monitor model cleanliness, system functionality, and document and schedule repairs for all interior and exterior maintenance concerns.
- Provide detailed customer communications of home progress, written and verbal, via email and video conference throughout the building process from purchase agreement through COE.
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is essential. Ability to work full‑time outdoors in various elements, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, walk on uneven surfaces, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment in excess of 50 pounds. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
Compensation& Benefits
Base compensation is an hourly rate of $16.00–$28.00, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic pay differentials, and operational considerations.
