About the role

We are seeking a strategic and driven, Business Development Manager to lead our growth across Latin America. Pharma Care is relatively small with respect to the size of the region, and there is real opportunity to grow and establish a stable business from its current size. This role is critical in delivering business development, developing and managing distributor relationships and confirming channel prioritization for this region.

What

you’ll do

Own LATAM commercial strategy; P&L. Define the 1–3 year plan, portfolio and channel priorities for region; set and deliver Net Sales, Contribution Margin and market share targets across pharmacy chains, modern trade, independent pharmacy networks and e-commerce.

Build a high-performing distributor ecosystem. Identify, negotiate and onboard distributors/partners; run regular performance reviews covering sell-in, sell-out, pricing integrity, trade terms and payment performance.

Win key accounts, expand ranging. Lead sell-in to top national retailers and pharmacy groups; optimize assortment, pricing architecture and trade spend by channel; secure activation and visibility that converts.

Stand up best-practice S&OP's forecasting. Partner with Supply Chain to keep inventory healthy and service levels high; tighten demand planning and WMAPE; prevent cross-border pricing leakage.

Accelerate e-commerce. Build Mexico’s online play (e.g., Mercado Libre, marketplaces and ) with the right assortment, content, ratings & reviews and promo cadence.

Navigate local requirements. Coordinate with Regulatory/Quality on claims and regulatory processes that influence route-to-market and launch timelines.

What you’ll bring

10+ years in Sales/BD with 5+ years in national distributor networks in FMCG / Consumer Health / OTC—delivering growth through pharmacy & modern trade.

Channel depth. Relationships with decision-makers across major pharmacy/mass retailers and strong e-commerce acumen (Mercado Libre and marketplaces).

Commercial toughness. Mastery of pricing & promo mechanics, trade terms, profitability levers and forecast discipline; experience safeguarding MAP and cross-border integrity.

Regulatory awareness. Comfort coordinating with internal Regulatory on COFEPRIS-related approvals/claims to keep launches on track.

Bilingual. Spanish (native-level) and English (business-fluent).

Ability to operate independently and in a ‘standalone’ capacity with the backing of a team.

You will have real ownership. Scope to shape the LATAM strategy end-to-end, backed by entrepreneurial values and decisive leadership.
