Overview
Res Med’s Incubation & Growth (I&G) team are responsible for developing, acquiring and scaling new high growth businesses within the areas of Sleep, Respiratory and Chronic Disease Management to achieve Res Med’s long term strategic growth objectives. Focusing on breakthrough, next generation of digital and hardware technologies and solutions, I&G work at the intersection of technology and business innovation, turning early innovations into viable scale up businesses.
We are seeking a dynamic, driven individual with experience commercializing new technologies and scaling early stage businesses to act as I&G’s strategic business development leader, driving business model innovation, go-to-market strategy and driving early adoption of new solutions across this broad innovation portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, bridging innovation with commercialization, and shaping new markets from concept through growth. Their primary role is to identify, develop and implement strategy and actions, ensuring business growth targets are achieved annually and driving a business model that makes Res Med solutions the No 1 choice. Key deliverables include developing strong relationships with key customer at all levels of the business to gain an understanding of key business drivers that influence purchasing decisions.
Reviewing feasibility of new markets and their potential growth opportunities. Analyzing levels of consumer penetration and identify areas for new opportunity. Delivering tangible results and high sales revenue utilizing pricing and marketing of both Res Med and non-Res Med products.
- Takes I&G products and services to external customers or groups of customers and enters into commercial negotiations for purchase and supply. Requires broad knowledge of I&Gs portfolio and customer needs. Sales roles typically require a university degree of equivalent work experience.
- Creates formal networks with key decision makers across a broad range of provider stakeholders, to cultivate future business opportunities and serves as external spokesperson for the organization in area of expertise.
- Evaluates sales trends and provides analysis and recommendations to management, product and engineering teams.
- Leads go-to-market planning for each product, including segmentation, customer targeting, milestones, and success metrics.
- Leads multidisciplinary projects that have a significant impact upon a major business unit.
- May supervise the activities of others.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- The most senior level individual contributor sales account manager.
- Proactively identifies, develops & manages the various business opportunity pipelines that impact the management and direction of the business.
- Ensures the retention, growth and customer satisfaction.
- Viewed as an expert by the company and in the field.
- Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
- Has complete knowledge of all company products and services and may be tasked with sales/development of new or strategic products.
- Ability to travel 30–40% to engage with customers.
