Role OverviewThe Sales Manager is responsible for driving studio revenue through daily sales efforts, team development, and member retention. This is not a behind-the-scenes management rolewere looking for a front-line sales leader who is excited to build relationships, pick up the phone, and close memberships themselves
. The ideal candidate is community-oriented, results-driven, reliable, and passionate about fitness.
- Make 50+ outbound calls daily to prospective members
- Convert leads into scheduled intros and memberships through phone, text, and in-person
- Follow up with no-shows, canceled intros, and leads from all sources
- Overcome objections by building value and helping people take action now
- Maintain CRM and track performance metrics daily
- Create and execute monthly retention strategies (check-ins, accountability calls, milestone celebrations)
- Monitor and improve key metrics:
intro show rate, conversion rate, retention rate - Run monthly and weekly reports to assess studio health and pivot accordingly
- Achieve and exceed monthly revenue goals across memberships, retail, and referrals
- Hire, train, and coach a high-performing sales associate team
- Lead daily sales huddles, objection-handling drills, and performance reviews
- Address underperformance with accountability plans and coaching
- Ensure daily coverage of intro shifts and resolve call-outs quickly
- Review and assign leads, monitor call activity, and confirm daily targets
- Execute grassroots marketing campaigns weeklypop-ups, partnerships, events
- Build strong local partnerships with other businesses, influencers, and wellness professionals
- Represent STRIDE in the community with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Maintain a professional appearance and energy in the studio at all times
- Ensure smooth front-desk operations during high-volume intro shifts
- Collaborate with the head coach and GM to align studio goals and events
- Foster a studio culture that is inclusive, inspiring, and accountability-driven
- 2+ years in sales, preferably in boutique fitness, wellness, or service industries
- Proven track record of closing sales and exceeding targets
- Previous experience leading or training a sales team preferred
- Outbound calling experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable with CRM tools, call tracking, and sales dashboards
- High emotional intelligence and customer-centric mindset
- Ownership mentality takes initiative and holds themselves accountable
- Flexible with schedule changes, studio needs, and weekend availability
- Passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their goals
