We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our growing global team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in international markets. This role requires a self-starter with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the Biotech/Microfluidics industry landscape.
Requirements- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s footprint in the North America/Europe market.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
- Define and implement entry strategies for new market segments.
- Identify potential clients, distributors, and key decision-makers; build long‑term, value‑based relationships.
- Lead negotiations for contracts, partnership agreements, and pilot projects.
- Collaborate with external partners to co‑develop solutions that leverage our core technologies.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the brand.
- Coordinate with marketing, product, and R&D teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into product development.
- Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and profitability of deals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management, preferably within the Biotech/Life Sciences industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal); fluency in oral English is a plus.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast‑paced international environment.
- Existing network of contacts in the Microfluidics/Diagnostics sector.
- Technical background or ability to understand complex scientific products.
