Overview

We are seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere. The Service Technician inspects, services, and prepares new and used vehicles according to factory and dealership standards, policies and specifications. As a Service Technician, the responsibility of customer satisfaction falls into the categories of completing the job correctly and on time.

The Service Technician Position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation of between $32.00 and $39.00, plus a productivity bonus equivalent up to a maximum hourly rate of $50.00 per hour based on individual performance.

  • Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation: $32.00 – $39.00 per hour
  • Productivity bonus: up to an additional $11.00 per hour based on performance, up to a maximum of $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles sufficient to effectively communicate with service and sales staff
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor if any additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Comply with all applicable company and legal requirements governing vehicle repairs
Qualifications
  • ASE certifications are ideal
  • Strong automotive background
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Must have clean and valid driver's license
  • OEM certifications are encouraged
  • Ability to exercise good judgment
  • Technical or trade school degree preferred
  • Clean driving record / valid CA driver's license
