Property Management Maintenance Coordinator
The role is primarily office-based and focuses on overseeing a high volume of maintenance activity, coordinating vendors, managing flood/restoration response, reviewing inspections and photos for tenant damage, handling invoicing, and maintaining clear, professional communication with tenants and vendors via App Folio, text, and email. The client’s summer season (June–August) is particularly intense due to student move-outs and turnovers, and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities- Oversee a high volume of maintenance activity and coordinate vendors and contractors.
- Manage flood/restoration response and review inspections and photos for tenant damage.
- Handle invoicing and maintain clear, professional communication with tenants and vendors via App Folio, text, and email.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with California security deposit requirements and determine tenant vs. wear-and-tear damage when reviewing inspections.
- Support high-volume maintenance workflows and prioritize tasks during peak periods (e.g., summer turnover).
- Strong property management experience
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Hands-on construction and maintenance knowledge (oversight rather than physical labor)
- Experience managing vendors, restoration contractors, and high-volume maintenance workflows
- Comfort reviewing inspections and understanding California security deposit requirements
- The client is a small, close-knit team with a modern office in Mission Valley and a collaborative, relaxed but high-performance culture.
- This position is onsite with flexibility.
- Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $0,000 to $120,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
