A Day in the Life of
the Allotment Specialist
As the Allotment Specialist for Liberty Military Housing, you are responsible for the allotment processes to include various tasks such as maintaining MAC allotments, collaborating with our government partners to process unit diary entries, supporting regional on-site teams with allotment inquiries, and other tasks as assigned. Your role requires accuracy, the ability to work efficiently and effectively, and the ability to deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with Liberty Military Housing’s quality customer satisfaction standards.
ResponsibilitiesYour Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Report MAC allotment changes to Fort Knox National Company (FKNC) through MIMO uploads and manual entries
- Collaborate with national PPV government partners to facilitate unit diary entries
- Research allotment discrepancies through reviewing payment files, resident ledgers, and individual Leave and Earning Statements (LES)
- Track potential allotment changes through various reporting tools provided by FKNC and our government partners
- Monitor a shared inbox for email support requests received by internal customers such as other national departments and on-site team members
- Provide other Liberty teams with MAC payment files and resident account transfer reporting
- Perform other related duties including ad hoc reporting and projects
What You Need for Success
:
- Property management industry experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working with Fort Knox National Company preferred
- Yardi experience preferred but not required.
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong attention to detail is critical.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Must also be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to obtain DBIDS or equivalent access to MCB Camp Pendleton.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
