Document Control Specialist

What will you do:

• Support the Quality Manager in identifying and implementing document and system improvements.
• Draft, edit, review, update, and maintain controlled quality documents.
• Review documentation for grammatical accuracy, formatting, and compliance.
• Create and maintain electronic documentation to supplement paper-based systems.

• Part time 20 hours/wk, M-F 9am-1pm
• Onsite in Sorrento Valley
• 2+ month contract

• 2+ years of experience in Document Control within biotech or pharma.
• Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and editing technical or SOP documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, policies, and regulated documentation.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and document management systems.

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $25–$50/hr please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
