Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting functions and partner closely with operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records, processing high volume transactions, and ensuring timely, well documented financial activity.

• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Process biweekly check runs, mail checks, and manage void or stop payment requests
• Scan and maintain accounts payable documentation, including invoices and property tax statements
• Monitor the AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries
• Post service contract purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with property management
• Post daily AP batches, rent payments, and journal entries
• Update weekly cash reporting templates
• Process annual 1099 forms
• Provide general support to corporate accounting as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• 2–4 years of accounting experience required
• Experience with Yardi strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partner
