Role DescriptionWe are a growing power tools and pest control equipment wholesaler seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support our accounting and financial operations. This role will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Net Suite ERP
, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is highly engaged with daily operations. Other key tasks include financial analysis, reporting, and managing compliance with accounting standards. The role involves collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support organizational financial goals and reporting requirements.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and fixed assets
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory accounting, costing, and variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Assist with external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
- Serve as a key Net Suite resource, including system optimization, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis and Analytical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA‑track preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Strong Net Suite ERP experience required
- Solid understanding of GAAP and inventory accounting
- Experience with month‑end close, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting tools a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
- Comfortable working on‑site in San Diego five days per week
