Accounting Manager – Financial Industry QUICK FACTS

• Pay: $40-$60/hr
• Part-time, 20 hours per week, On-going contract

• 7+ years in accounting, including supervising teams or projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and resolving complex accounting issues.
• Proficiency with financial reporting, Excel, and cloud-based accounting tools.
• Proven track record of managing multiple clients and maintaining high-quality work.
• Comfortable communicating complex financial information to clients and stakeholders.
• Background in public accounting or with large CPA firms strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with automation tools and system integrations for accounting.
• Experience developing efficient workflows and accounting procedures.

• Oversee and review client financial projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate directly with business owners to provide strategic financial guidance.
• Lead efforts to improve and streamline accounting processes and systems.
