Cost Accountant

Title: Project Accountant

Compensation: $85000 - $100,000

Location: Fully Remote

Reports To: Director of Accounting

A growing technology organization backed by private equity, focused on delivering advanced solutions within the smart infrastructure and public technology sector. The company is scaling quickly and continuing to build out a strong accounting and finance team to support expansion.

This role supports continued growth by ensuring accurate accounting for inventory, costs, and project activity. You will partner closely across departments to support effective financial reporting and operational success.

• Manage full cycle accounting for inventory and cost of goods sold
• Oversee Bill of Materials processes and related costing activities
• Analyze purchase price variances and provide insights
• Review and reconcile inventory transactions and balances
• Collaborate cross functionally to support cost accounting and reporting needs
• Assist leadership with implementation of policies and procedures related to inventory and cost accounting
• Experience supporting revenue accounting processes, highly preferred
• Utilize Net Suite and Suite Projects for accounting and reporting (preferred)

• Three to five years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• Experience with full cycle inventory and cost of goods sold accounting
• Strong communication and collaborative abilities
• Net Suite experience
• Revenue accounting experience
