What You Will DoHelp customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products with sound professional judgment, delivering tax advice, full‑service return preparation, and managing product/software inquiries.
- Maintain sensitive customer, confidential and/or proprietary business information responsibly.
- Leverage government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to provide accurate answers.
- Use video communication software to interact with customers virtually and document interactions.
- Demonstrate professional conduct while adhering to Intuit’s operating values.
- Strong business tax preparation experience; 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season.
- Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
- Minimum 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience; preferred 30 returns per year.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
- Bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers.
- Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Commit to a minimum schedule of 20 hours per week (in 4‑hour shift increments).
- Working knowledge of Circular 230.
- Proficient with technology and computer operations.
- Strong customer service skills; ability to interact via video and audio tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, determination.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Internet connection meeting Intuit Security criteria.
Competitive base pay varies by location (e.g., Bay Area California $40.10‑$46.20).
Potential for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.
