Jr. Accountant

Description

Our client in the property management sector is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their accounting career who wants to learn and grow within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Support daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable

+ Assist in bank and account reconciliations for multiple properties

+ Prepare and enter journal entries and help with month-end closing activities

+ Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting

+ Collaborate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance

+ Support audits and assist with documentation for external reviewers

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

+ 0-2 years of accounting experience; experience in property management is a plus

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting or property management software (such as Yardi or MRI) is a plus

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented setting
