Senior Tax Accountant

Salary range $80,000 – 95,000/year

Duties include:

• Preparation of monthly compiled financial statements – bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, general ledger analysis, year‑end closing, etc…
• Preparation of advanced individual tax returns – reporting on stock options, real estate, multi‑state, 1031 exchange, quarterly estimated tax payments, etc…
• Preparation of corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns – year‑end planning, preparation of depreciation schedules, basis reconciliation, etc…
• Review of individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns
• Preparation of tax projections – entities and individuals
• Handle special projects as needed

• A minimum 4‑years public accounting experience
• Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax regulations.
• Knowledge and experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements.
• Strong capabilities in Accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency and experience with Lacerte & Quickbooks including QBO
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Prior experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
