Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team supporting company-wide financial operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

• Review general ledger activity (income statement and balance sheet) to ensure accuracy and proper classification
• Prepare and post daily cash entries and account reconciliations
• Reconcile disbursement and bank accounts, resolving variances as needed
• Review and clear intercompany balances through journal entries and transfers
• Prepare monthly allocations for corporate and regional expenses
• Support draw requests, work-in-progress tracking, and related reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Prepare financial schedules, reporting packages, and ad hoc analyses as requested
• Partner with internal teams to identify process improvements and ensure timely, accurate reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
  Experience with Yardi preferred
• Construction, property management or real estate accounting experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
