Responsibilities
The Audit Manager is expected to uphold the firm’s values and professionalism while coordinating with clients. Responsibilities include conducting timely audits and other assurance-related matters, maintaining ongoing client relationships, resolving complex accounting issues, advising on economic and regulatory risks, and staying current with technical standards. The role involves supervising, directing, and reviewing audit tasks throughout the process. The Audit Manager may also participate in marketing and business development efforts.
Ability to manage an efficient and profitable audit process is essential. Travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- CPA Certification
- 5+ years of current experience in public accounting
- Understanding of GAAP and FASB regulations
- Experience with SEC, SOX, and Lease accounting is a plus
- Proven record of building profitable and sustainable client relationships
- At least 4 years in a leadership role managing staff across multiple engagements
- Proficiency with CCH Axcess and CCH Pro System Engagement
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office products
