Position Summary

The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow within a high-performance finance team. You will assist with general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance activities.

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and assist with monthly close processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury functions.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting.
• Provide documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.

• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain accurate records for 1099s and other compliance documentation.

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements.
• Support payroll processing and reconcile payroll sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
• Respond to information requests from management and auditors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-sized or tech-focused company.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in Quick Books, Excel, and other accounting software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory and/or contract manufacturing.
• Experience in AI technology or SaaS environments.
• Experience with Concur Employee Expense.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000-$95,000. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
