We are looking for an Outsourced Accounting Manager to join our Private Client Services (PCS) practice. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple client engagements, review general ledger, manage month and quarter-end close, supervise staff, and conduct research. Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster professional growth are essential. This position follows a hybrid work model with offices in La Jolla, California.

• Collaborate on month and quarter-end closes, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial statements per GAAP and tax basis.
• Handle A/P, A/R, payroll, and other general ledger duties.
• Establish and implement client accounting policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements and controls.
• Train, supervise, and develop team members.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support onsite client engagements.
• Develop expertise aligned with firm niches and initiatives.
• Manage time and billing accurately.
• Understand client businesses, meet deadlines, and contribute to client growth through networking and seminars.
• Stay updated on tax laws and accounting standards, applying knowledge proactively.
• Coordinate efforts with tax and audit teams.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in professional development.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of public accounting or related experience.
• CPA/JD or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification.
• Experience with month-end closing and financial review.

• Experience with Quick Books, Xero, Net Suite,
• Experience reviewing investment accounts from brokerage statements.
