Overview
Store Manager role at Circle K located at 901 Avenida Pico, San Clemente, California 92673. This position requires strong leadership, customer service excellence and store operations management in a retail environment.
Responsibilities- Lead, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service and store presentation.
- Develop, assign and monitor tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and compliant with Company standards.
- Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors; schedule employees within Company guidelines to optimize service and store appearance.
- Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separations.
- Develop positive supplier relationships, resolve customer complaints promptly and promote a safe, positive public image within the community.
- Prepare performance appraisals and provide timely, constructive feedback to employees.
- Train employees on customer service, site image, safety procedures and marketing execution to meet Company standards.
- Ensure effective internal communication and conduct periodic meetings with site staff and the Market Manager.
- Evaluate site needs, organize files, and manage reports, inventory, pricing and merchandising to meet objectives.
- Analyze daily sales and expenses, manage budget and P&L; safeguard all money handling and perform necessary financial analyses to maximize profits.
- Adhere to safety procedures and promote a safe work environment; work with minimal direction when managing store operations.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Ability to supervise and train staff in equipment use and daily duties; familiarity with CSR and ASM responsibilities is a plus.
- Ability to supervise and manage functions described for CSR/ASM roles; proficient computer usage for reports, inventory and cash control.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from bank and management meetings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Most work indoors with some outdoor duties (parking lots, pumps, trash removal).
- Occasional exposure to cold temperatures (near walk-in cooler/freezer) and noise.
- Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate effective leadership at all times.

Hiring Range: $20.43 to $24.82 per hour.
