Senior Platform Engineer | AWS, Terraform, Datadog | Scale a High-Growth Healthtech Platform

• 5 days in San Clemente (CA)
• $140,000 - $180,000 + equity

We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to become the first hire dedicated to scaling our infrastructure and platform capabilities. This is a chance to own observability, security, and cloud operations at a fast-growing Healthtech SaaS that’s transforming how providers manage their revenue cycle.

As the first platform engineer, you’ll have real ownership: building the foundations of infrastructure, compliance, and developer productivity that the business will rely on as it scales.

What you’ll do:

• Lead observability: own Datadog, ensuring systems are monitored, alerting, and self-healing.
• AWS + Terraform: build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure
• Establish HIPAA + SOC 2 compliance foundations
• Design CI/CD pipelines to accelerate safe deployments
• Create dev/staging environments and data infra for product & analytics teams

What we’re looking for:

• Hands-on experience owning observability systems (Datadog preferred)
• AWS & Terraform expertise
• Track record building CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tooling
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC
  2)
• Experience building 0-1: you will be the first platform hire.
