Job Title:

REGENESIS is the world's leader in the development of production and environmental restoration products. Our corporate headquarters in San Clemente, CA is expanding and is hiring for a Controller.
Job Description:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, implementing strong internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role manages the general accounting team and partners closely with executive leadership to drive financial excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial close processes and deliver consistent, high-quality reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Support development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and provide insights to leadership.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and collaboration.
- Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and support employee development.
- Assess and implement process improvements, automation, and systems enhancements.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment between financial operations and business goals.
- Participate in strategic planning, risk assessment, and operational reviews.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in corporate accounting, audit, or similar environments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and financial integrity.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location organization.
- Background in services, or relevant industry sector.
- Experience implementing financial systems or leading process transformation.
• Salary range is between $180,000-$200,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and related qualifications.
