As a Tax Associate, you will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete and accurate tax returns, provide IRS support, grow client retention, and collaborate with the office to drive business growth.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via virtual tools such as video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention by offering additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Grow your tax expertise.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Ability to work a minimum of 25–35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort working with virtual tools such as video, phone, and chat.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
