Tea Hut is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Baristas. As a Barista at Tea Hut, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our customers. We are looking for candidates who are not only passionate about tea but also capable of working flexible hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• Availability for
  
  Shifts:
  
  Candidates must be able to take shifts between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and be available for at least one weekend shift.
• Excellent Customer Service:A friendly and customer-focused attitude is essential. Baristas are expected to provide exceptional customer service, be attentive to customer needs, and maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Effective communication is crucial in this role. Baristas should be able to take customer orders accurately, communicate with team members, and answer customer questions about our tea offerings.
• Team Player:Tea Hut values teamwork. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, including preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies.
• Attention to Detail:Baristas must pay attention to detail when preparing and presenting beverages. This includes following recipes, measuring ingredients accurately, and ensuring the quality and consistency of tea drinks.
• Adaptability:The ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently is important. Baristas should be comfortable working under pressure during busy periods.
• Food Safety and Sanitation:Candidates must adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
• Age Requirement:Baristas must be at least 16 years old to be considered for this position.
• Legal Authorization:All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Barista
  
  Experience:
  
  Prior experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Passion for Tea:A genuine passion for tea and a willingness to learn about different tea varieties and brewing techniques is highly valued.
• Cash Handling
  
  Skills:
  
  Experience handling cash transactions and operating a cash register is preferred.
• Flexibility:Candidates with flexible schedules and the ability to cover additional shifts or holidays will be prioritized.
