Senior​/Lead Bioinformatics Scientist; Epigenomics

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and validate innovative algorithms and statistical methods to analyze large‑scale data sets related to cancer detection
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence
• Work closely with molecular biologists and clinical scientists to solve challenging problems
• Contribute to experimental design and ensure data integrity and quality control

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with a strong emphasis on cancer epi/genomics
• Proven track‑record of developing state‑of‑the‑art computational methods for high‑throughput sequencing data processing
• Strong foundation in quantitative reasoning, statistical analysis and applied machine learning
• Strong computational and programming skills, with hands‑on experience with Python and its scientific library stack (Pandas, Num Py, scikit‑learn)
• Experience using Linux command‑line tools and writing shell scripts
• Ability to perform hypothesis‑driven research, visualize findings and summarize results in oral and written form
• High scientific rigor and eager to teach and learn about new computational methods and biology

This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of the base pay we reasonably expect to offer at the time of hire. Final compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Compensation Range
$146,900 – $183,600 USD
