Overview
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) (Finance)
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) (Finance) role providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nuse, following Satellite policies and procedures per their state Scope of Practice. The technician is often the first team member to meet and greet patients on the treatment floor and should help make patients feel comfortable throughout their center visit and treatment. The technician advocates for patients and effectively communicates with other team members to deliver quality care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nuse and in accordance with Satellite policies and state Scope of Practice.
- Greet patients on the treatment floor and contribute to a welcoming, compassionate environment throughout the course of treatment.
- Advocate for patients and communicate relevant information to the care team to support quality care delivery.

- Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent
- Experience: Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician
- License/
Certifications:
BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations);
California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations);
Current CPR certification
