Position
Construction Superintendent – Custom Home Builder (Family‑owned)
Base Pay Range$120,000 – $160,000 per year
CompanyPremier Peninsula Custom Home and Residential Builder, a family‑owned construction company with over 40 years of experience, seeking a high‑end superintendent with expertise in custom homes/estate developments.
Responsibilities- Oversee all stages of project life‑cycle management, including conception, planning, execution, control, and closure.
- Coordinate and supervise construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring on‑time delivery.
- Ensure all work follows safety standards and regulations.
- Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment, leading by example and promoting teamwork.
- Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
- Manage and resolve conflicts that arise during construction.
- Continuously review and improve construction processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a solid track record of large‑scale project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills under pressure.
- Superior organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools.
- Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Certifications in project management or safety management are an asset.
