Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician

The company is a family owned and operated firm headquartered in Michigan serving customers across the U.S. They offer a full‑time position with 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule, overtime & on‑call rotation.

Compensation: $20.00 – $45.00 per hour.

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk‑ins, reach‑ins, ice machines, parallel rack systems, etc.).
• Prefer experience with CO₂ refrigeration rack systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of transcritical and subcritical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system checks.
• Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Replace or repair compressors, motors, fans, and other key components.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; extensive driving required.
• Capability to supply personal hand tools.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Strong communication skills.
• Can work under pressure in fast‑paced or high‑stress environments.
• Self‑starter who works independently and as part of a team.

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Overtime may be required based on workload.
• Participation in an on‑call rotation following the training period.
