The company is a family owned and operated firm headquartered in Michigan serving customers across the U.S. They offer a full‑time position with 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule, overtime & on‑call rotation.
Compensation: $20.00 – $45.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk‑ins, reach‑ins, ice machines, parallel rack systems, etc.).
- Prefer experience with CO₂ refrigeration rack systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of transcritical and subcritical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and system checks.
- Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Replace or repair compressors, motors, fans, and other key components.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; extensive driving required.
- Capability to supply personal hand tools.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely.
- Strong communication skills.
- Can work under pressure in fast‑paced or high‑stress environments.
- Self‑starter who works independently and as part of a team.
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Overtime may be required based on workload.
- Participation in an on‑call rotation following the training period.
