Guest Advocate (Cashier) – On‑Demand (T1054)

Starting Hourly Rate: $20.50 per hour

As an On‑Demand Guest Advocate at Target, you will create your own schedule, respond to shift requests, and provide excellent customer service across general merchandise, fulfillment, food & beverage, and style.

You can work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule is flexible, but reliable and consistent attendance is required. Pick up at least one shift within 5 months or employment may be terminated.

• Deliver a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience.
• Greet and assist guests, answer questions, and resolve concerns.
• Operate handheld scanners, mobile checkout, and other technology.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support order pick‑up, drive‑up, and registry guest services.
• Support cash office processes and handle cash register operations.
• Assist with Target loyalty programs, the Target App, and other store services.
• Comply with safety policies, adult beverage laws, and other legal requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, physically demanding environment.
• Working knowledge of handheld scanners and mobile technology.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to positive customer experience and problem solving.
• Physical ability to lift 10–44 pounds, stand for periods, and move merchandise.
