Job Summary
:
Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Scaled Abuse Analyst for You Tube's Trust & Safety team. The role involves analyzing large-scale data to provide insights for abuse prevention and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive anti-abuse solutions.

Responsibilities
:

• Apply advanced statistical methods to large complex data sets to understand impact of abuse to the You Tube ecosystem. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for effective abuse prevention and enforcement.

• Learn complex and technical concepts and systems and deliver meaningful results using them.

• Communicate technical results and methods clearly.

• Identify product vulnerabilities and abuse trends by performing investigations using various data sources. Contribute strategy and development of new workflows against additional known vectors of abuse.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners in engineering, product, policy and legal to drive complex anti-abuse solutions involving and impacting various cross-functional areas.

Qualifications
:
Required
:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.

• 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

• Experience in SQL (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Map Reduce).

Preferred
:

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.

• 2 year of experience with machine learning systems.

• 2 year of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, or C++.

• Experience with fraud and abuse in online platforms.

• Experience in data analysis and statistical modeling.
