Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in data analysis using SQL, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 1 year of experience in anti‑abuse or trust and safety operations.
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs).
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to gather requirements, explain models and iterate to make improvements.
- Excellent problem‑solving and investigative skills with experience in making operational improvements and solving problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As an Enforcement Detection Analyst on the You Tube Trust and Safety team, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that we effectively identify and remove disruptive content and users as quickly as possible, in an environment where hundreds of hours of new content is uploaded every minute, globally.
In this role, you may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content during team escalations in line with You Tube’s Community Guidelines. This role may require on‑call work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $105,000–$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies and solutions to enforce You Tube content policies erage Machine Learning (ML), as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners in engineering, product and policy to drive anti‑abuse solutions involving and impacting various cross‑functional areas.
- Provide rapid incident response for abuse problems, operating separately. Analyze and draw conclusions on root causes and define and implement mitigation steps.
- Learn technical concepts and systems and deliver meaningful results using them. Communicate technical results and methods clearly.
- Design and refine prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve their accuracy in identifying and classifying abusive content and behavior.
