Position Summary
Staff UX Designer – Conversational Design (Senior level). Responsible for leading design initiatives, setting creative direction, and delivering high‑quality design solutions across multiple projects. Collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams, mentors junior designers, and ensures design work aligns with business goals and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design process from concept to execution for complex conversational‑design projects.
- Develop and communicate design strategies and vision.
- Analyze user feedback and live conversational data to identify pain points and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Use data analytics to refine the AI‑model user experience in line with customer demands.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visuals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers.
- Advocate for user‑centered design principles and best practices.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all design outputs.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of professional design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual, interaction, and/or product design.
- Ability to blend qualitative insight (user research, workflow mapping) with quantitative rigor (experiments, data analysis).
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience Leading Design Projects And Mentoring Others
- Experience in retail, e‑commerce, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
- Design certification (e.g., IDEOU – Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).
- Driving product development in a user experience area.
- Master’s degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
