• Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

• Plan, layout, direct, and inspect the work of the Carpenter II and incarcerated person work crews engaged in construction and repair of all structures at the institution.
• Make rough sketches and estimates for the cost of minor structures, projects, and repair work.
• Advise in the selection and requisition of all building materials and supplies required to operate and maintain the carpenter shop.
• Supervise the proper storage and cleaning of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Work from carry‑outathed instructions according to plans, blueprints, and specifications, as directed by the Supervisor of Building Trades.

Correctional facility, 24 hours/7 days a week. Office‑centered positions. Contact with incarcerated persons is part of the work environment.
