• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but unobtrusive written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

The Utilities Clerk will assist in proper maintenance of the store, especially in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• Carry out groceries for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Retrieve and maintain store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs.
• Assist with check stand upkeep and remove waste from parking area.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, with essential functions including physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements.
