• Reporting to the department Manager, the Batching/Blending Technician handles ingredients, maintains filters, and prepares product for bottling by mixing ingredients according to Refresco quality procedures and SAP. Supplies the production line with the blended product in a timely manner and helps to attain maximum product recovery.

• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
• Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
• Will be trained and certified in the operations of all batching/blending equipment in his or her area of responsibility.
• Verify all ingredients against SAP, food safety, food quality, and inventory control parameters before conducting syrup batching.
• Follows instructions on batching/blending sheets, adds the proper ingredients, and records amounts accurately.
• Completes all required documentation for batching/blending operation and forwards to QA/Blending department for review.
• Maintains sanitation and cleaning of the area throughout the shift.

• Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment preferred.
• Formal training in areas such as SAP, HACCP, GMP, Hygiene etc. preferred.
• Able to routinely lift 50lbs.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written (English).
• Solid comprehension of production schedules and laboratory testing.

• High School Certification
• 1‑2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Weekday, weekend, afternoon, evening, overnight and holiday work may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed.
• Fast‑paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Requires hearing protection and temperature control.

• Stand or sit for extended periods.
• Lift 50 lbs. (minimum 5 lbs.) regularly.
• Walk, drive (forklift), climb stairs/ladders, and reach using hands.

Pay Range: $21.69 – $22.61 an hour. Status:
Non‑Exempt.
