Sunny Days of California, Inc. specializes in early intervention, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Sunny Days is a nationwide agency with programs throughout California.

Our multidisciplinary programs provide occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

• Opportunities to serve infants and toddlers with developmental delays and families in home and community settings

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide physical therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies that help each child reach specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family‑centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and ensure progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, including families’ homes, daycare centers, and other community settings; virtual services are also currently available
• Provide reassessments and write progress reports (typically bi‑annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Home‑based service delivery experience preferred
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
