Overview
Job Advertisement for a position located at the California Institution for Women in Corona, San Bernardino. Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires that each full-time employee receive a 3 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours of PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

- Research various Memorandums of Understanding and State Personnel Board laws and rules, Departmental Operations Manual, California Code of Regulations, California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) bulletins, and laws and policies of labor administration, and handle second level grievances.
- Conduct grievance conferences. Assist institution supervisors in responding to first level grievances. Meet with employees, supervisors, and labor representatives concerning complaints and potential or actual grievances.

Working Conditions
- This is a Correctional Institution open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; all positions are office centered.
- This is a correctional facility; you will come in contact with incarcerated person(s).

Desirable Qualifications- Ability to establish and maintain effective and beneficial relationships with internal and external customers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting policies, regulations, and laws.
- Excellent work ethic, problem solving, decision-making and critical thinking, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
- Familiar with bargaining contracts.
