Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

Employment: Full-time Direct Hire

• BSEE from a four-year college or university with 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with PCB design is desired.
• Experience using high end EDA tools (Veri Best) along with Matlab, Mathematica and Math Cad.
• The ideal candidate must be able to present information clearly and efficiently between team members verbally and in writing.
• Highly developed planning and organizational skills are required.
• Demonstrated abilities in analog and/or digital design from conceptual stages through manufacturing are required.

This position requires excellent skills in the areas of design, test, and written as well as verbal communications. The ability to take complete complex tasks on schedule with moderate supervision is required. A high degree of self‑motivation, the ability to learn new skills and derive creative solutions with minimal training, are essential.

• Develop new design, test, integration, and installation concepts and techniques capable of improving performance and reducing cost.
• Execute design, test, integration, and installation tasks in accordance with project team objectives and requirements. Assist and mentor other engineers in completing their assignments.
• Coordinate assignments with the other project team members (including the team leader, mechanical, electrical, field service, and software engineers, technical writers and equipment users).
• Improve documentation procedures in compliance with Client standards.

• Develop innovative concepts and techniques for satisfying customer needs and requirements.
• Ensure technical specifications neither understate nor overstate customer needs and requirements.
• Ensure project development plans realistically address risks and problems as well as requirements.
• Ensure project development costs and schedules are commensurate with project complexity and risks.
• Assist proposal preparation and editing.

• Other duties as assigned
• Work schedule may vary to accommodate equipment availability or needs.
• Occasionally support the resumption of patient treatment by assisting the Field Service Team by telephone or in person. Immediate pager response is expected while at work, and within a reasonable time while away.
