• Doing 1:1 check-ins and discussing school feedback with you
• Listening to your needs and preferences before matching you with assignments
• Being just a call away for any concerns or questions
• Offering free, online training that covers trauma-informed teaching, classroom management, and more
• Designating a Scoot consultant to support your subbing journey - Most of our consultants used to be teachers so they can share teaching advice.

• Earn up to$30-$32
  for day-to-day assignments, and more for long-term
• Be a W-2 employee so no fussing with taxes
• Expenses related to state background checks will be reimbursed on your first Pay Check.
• Refer friends to sub with Scoot - after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards

• Work closely with students, either 1:1 or across entire classrooms
• Assist various moderate to severe scenarios such as Toileting;
  Personal 1:1 Care;
  Non-Verbal;
  Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators

• Valid RBT Certification
• Experience in behavioral therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities
• At least 1 year experience working with children/adults with special needs; OR
• At least 1 year year in a classroom /education setting
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or 48+ college credits
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
• Background Check (we’ll cover the cost of this on your first check!)
• TB risk assessment within 90 days
• You’ll stand out if you have any SpEd-specific training or applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience
