A highly visible public-sector organization that plays a critical role in civic operations is seeking a Staff Analyst to support complex administrative, fiscal, and operational functions. Hours & Pay- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $35.69 per hour
- Employment Type: 90-day contract
- Work Environment: Primarily seated
- Overtime Requirement: Mandatory overtime, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

What You'll Do- Plan and coordinate administrative and operational studies involving fiscal operations, budgeting, staffing, workflow, space utilization, and training initiatives
- Analyze financial data and develop recommendations related to budgets, fiscal procedures, purchasing controls, and cost-benefit improvements
- Prepare, justify, monitor, and present less complex budgets and expenditure reports
- Develop, review, and administer contracts, bids, proposals, and agreements while monitoring compliance
- Research, prepare, and support grant proposals and oversee grant implementation procedures
- Develop, recommend, and document policies, procedures, and standardized practices
- Design or improve forms and coordinate their publication and dissemination
- Develop departmental training plans and administer training-related budgets
- Participate in meetings and present analytical findings to support management decision-making
- Review current and pending legislation and assess its operational impact
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and official documentation
- Provide temporary or vacation relief support as needed
- May supervise a small staff, including assigning and evaluating work
- 2-3 years of experience in a Staff Analyst II role
- Prior County or City government experience strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills
- Experience with budgeting, fiscal analysis, and administrative procedures
- Ability to interpret legislation, contracts, and policy requirements
- Professional demeanor with the ability to present findings clearly and confidently
- Commitment to dress standards, including business attire and dress shoes
