Cost Accountant

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Salary Range: $80,000–$110,000

Our client is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for aerospace and industrial markets. They are seeking a Cost Accountant to join their finance team in Rancho Cucamonga. This role will play a key part in supporting manufacturing operations through detailed cost analysis, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment and enjoy partnering cross‑functionally to drive accurate financial insight and operational efficiency.

• Perform cost accounting activities including standard cost development, variance analysis, and cost roll‑ups
• Analyze manufacturing costs related to labor, materials, overhead, and inventory
• Partner with operations and engineering to support costing accuracy and efficiency improvements
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual standard cost updates
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX requirements
• Assist with month‑end close activities and audit support as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve cost visibility, reporting accuracy, and financial processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
• Working knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems strongly preferred
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate cross‑functionally
