Job DescriptionThe Senior Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations through advanced inventory control, shipping/receiving, workflow coordination, and customer service collaboration. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert within the warehouse, helps guide junior staff, and ensures that daily processes run smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform advanced shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and verifying items against purchase and sales orders.
- Assemble, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
- Create and receive purchase orders in the system with accuracy.
- Process daily sales orders, transfers, and receipts in the computer system.
- Assist in resolving order or inventory discrepancies (pricing, quantities, acknowledgements, delayed shipments, etc.).
- Collaborate with sales teams on order status, stock availability, and issue resolution.
- Prepare shipments and parcels for mailing or freight pickup.
- Maintain organization of warehouse shelves, bins, racks, and storage areas.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
- Perform basic maintenance of warehouse tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist in sorting, labeling, and placing materials in designated storage locations.
- Process COD customer payments such as cash, checks, and credit cards.
- Drive a 16‑ft box truck to deliver products to local customers and job sites when needed.
- Assist with facilities-related tasks such as basic upkeep or minor repairs.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
