Job SummaryThe Equipment Delivery Technician is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery, setup, and retrieval of durable medical equipment (DME) to and from customer locations, including healthcare facilities. This role ensures all equipment is clean, functional, and properly documented while delivering excellent customer service. The Equipment Delivery Technician represents Mas Vida Healthcare Solutions in the field and plays a key part in upholding our commitment to quality, safety, and responsiveness.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Load, transport, and deliver DME and oxygen‑related equipment to healthcare providers and patients
- Set up, test, and ensure proper operation of delivered equipment; provide basic instruction to facility staff
- Retrieve equipment from customer locations; inspect and document condition
- Follow company protocols for infection control, equipment cleaning, and PPE use
- Accurately complete delivery and pickup documentation, including proof of delivery, condition reports, and work orders
- Ensure vehicles are stocked with necessary supplies and maintained in safe operating condition
- Maintain timely communication with dispatch and branch teams regarding schedule or delivery issues
- Report damaged or missing equipment and customer feedback to Branch Operations Manager or Area Director
- Comply with DOT, FDA, and HIPAA regulations related to the transport and handling of medical devices
- Assist with warehouse duties such as staging, loading, and cleaning equipment when needed
- Demonstrate professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions
- 1+ year of experience in delivery driving, logistics, or DME preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL not required but a plus
- Ability to safely lift, load, and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
- Comfortable with handheld devices and basic route tracking technology
- Dependable, self‑motivated, and customer‑focused
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to pass a background check and DOT drug screen
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and participate in on‑call rotation as needed
