Security Coordinator

Gate Safe has immediate openings for security coordinators at San Antonio International Airport, San Antonio, TX.

Starting rate of pay is $9.75 per hour. $200 bonus after hire.

Gate Safe is headquartered in Atlanta, GA and has a national team of professional, highly trained security staff serving more than 90 domestic and international air carriers at more than 35 airports across the nation. The majority of our team is dedicated to our core security business of airline catering and is rapidly expanding into new markets and other areas of airport security such as aircraft sweeps and cargo screening.

Employees inspect airline catering food and supply carts to ensure security measures meet airline and TSA guidelines. Employees prevent prohibited items from entering the airport operations area by performing safety sweeps of aircraft and screening airline service personnel. Airline cargo is screened to comply with federally mandated security requirements. Positions require the ability to safely operate company vehicles around the aircraft on the airport operations area.

• All candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid U.S. driver's license, and be a U.S. citizen.
• Candidates must be able to lift 30 lbs. on a regular basis to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Candidates must provide a ten‑year history for an FBI background check and submit to a fingerprint and drug screen.
• All applicants must speak, read, and write English fluently.
