Android Developer, Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, App Developer - Mobile/Web
Akkodis is seeking an Android Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. You will design and maintain advanced Android applications with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
- Implement clean architecture patterns such as MVVM and leverage Android SDK, Jetpack components for scalable app development.
- Develop applications using Kotlin, Java, and React Native, integrating microservices and third-party services as needed.
- Optimize applications for performance and security, conducting thorough testing and debugging.
- Collaborate using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git Lab, Visual Studio, Jira, and Confluence for efficient development and deployment.
- Work with reusable components and modern frameworks to enhance modularity and maintainability of the codebase.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, and MVVM/Clean Architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with microservices integration, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization for Android apps.

Pay Details:$45.00 to $49.00 per hour
