** Education**:
Required – Bachelor’s degree in a Health and Human Services field or currently enrolled in an advanced degree program.

Required - 2 years' experience working with vulnerable populations and supervisory experience.

* Job Summary:

** The Family Support Specialist supervisor is responsible for providing supervision  and support to staff to ensure that quality services, best practice and professional judgment are  provided to clients served in compliance with established state and federal standards. This  position also provides direct services as needed.
*
* Essential Functions:

** 1. Supervise a team of 2 or more daily, providing ongoing support, consultation, training and  quality assurance.  
2. Complete consultation as outlined in the quality assurance plan, provides written  feedback to staff, and provides recommendations to the Program Director/Director  regarding job performance.  
3. Implement developmental plans as needed for staff, and ensure the team has what they  need to meet their job responsibilities.  
4. Complete required contract reporting and tracking of information.  
5. Provides individual and family sessions using Motivational Interviewing (MI) and  Strengthening Families Program (SFP).  6. Provide case management support through coordinating referrals, service planning and  documentation of services for assigned caseload.  
7. Provide crises intervention during work hours and after hours as needed. Participates oncall to provide crisis intervention services responding promptly and professionally to all  crises calls using independent judgement and discretion.  
8. Develop, monitor, and review action plans designed to increase strengths, address needs,  and reduce conflict in the home.  
9. Assist in emergency shelter placements and/or finding respite care when determined  appropriate.  10. Mandated Reported - Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the program supervisor  and all appropriate state and county enforcement agencies.  11. Coordinate staff meetings, in-service training and UCAP events.  12. Participate in weekly face to face or phone supervision with the supervisor.  13. Frequent travel is required for training, home visits and to provide quality assurance for  the team.  

14. Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and state/federal partners.
** Measurable Deliverables:
** 1. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this  position.  
2. Maintain a caseload in accordance with agency policies and procedures and licensing and  contract standards.  
3. Provide services to youth ages 6-18 (or until youth graduates from high school) and their  families.  
4. Offer individual, family and group sessions to assigned families as appropriate.  
5. Educate on skills necessary for conflict resolution, anger management, parenting, etc. as  needed.  
6. Complete quality assurance items including shadowing staff, reviewing case files and  client satisfaction tools.  
7. Conduct follow up calls and/or visits to youth/families in crises situations.  
8. Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, and additional  information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements.  
9. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.  10. Implement BCFS safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in  case of an emergency.  11. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.  12. Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in the  employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, the service  population, and community members and complying with the required dress code,…
