Immediately hiring a Non-CDL Driver/Helper for a large company located near downtown. In this position, you are responsible for safely operating company trucks with gooseneck trailers to transport equipment, materials, and tools to and from commercial job sites. This role also supports field crews with hands-on landscaping and irrigation installation duties as needed.
Pay is $15-$19 D.O.E
Shift is Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:00pm
Duties:
- Safely operate company trucks with gooseneck trailers (non-CDL) to haul heavy equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites.
- Load, secure, and unload landscaping and irrigation equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections, report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist crews with commercial landscape installations including grading, planting, sod installation, and hardscape preparation.
- Support irrigation installation, including trenching, pipe laying, valve installation, and system testing.
- Operate basic landscaping tools and small equipment safely.
- Follow project plans and supervisor direction to meet production deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Experience pulling flatbed gooseneck trailers and transporting equipment preferred.
- Previous experience in commercial landscaping, irrigation, or construction preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of proper load securement and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with skid steers, mini-excavators, or similar equipment.
