Job Summary
Security 101 – San Antonio is now recruiting for a Commercial Security Service Technician that has 5+ years of hands‑on installation and servicing of on‑premise, and cloud hosted enterprise electronic security experience as related to card access technology and related devices, video MGMT systems, intrusion alarm, and other applicable force‑protection equipment.
SalaryFull‑time, non‑exempt position with hourly wage range from $30.00 to $39.00, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP‑based video surveillance systems, and intrusion detection systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking infrastructure and understanding of how customer networks interface with commercial security systems.
- General knowledge of electronic security installation, NEC, NFPA Life Safety Code issues.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot access control and video system with little or no supervision.
- Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
- Valid driving license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred).
- Formal electronics training, to include installation tasks, soldering, cable dressing, cable tray, conduit, and making/repairing connectors.
Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team‑oriented work environment.
Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug‑test screening. Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs.
