Fleet Mobile Maintenance (FMM) offers mobile preventative maintenance and mechanical repair, tire replacement and repair services, and trailer repair and maintenance services. We serve several markets in the Southeast corridor of Michigan, including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Lansing, and Flint, and technicians serving customers in Indianapolis, Cleveland, Louisville, and Nashville.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers’ commercial tractors and trailers
- Write detailed work orders and perform Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard work
- Provide quality customer service
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks and trailers
- Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required
- Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires
- Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Test all systems and equipment for performance issues
- Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements
- Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management
- Respond as soon as possible to client queries
- 5+ years of verified experience in commercial tractor and trailer repair
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds
- Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
- Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
- Experience with welding; certification a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus
- Class A CDL

- Mon-Fri schedule with voluntary on-call
